If you require dinner on arrival, (a very popular choice) you will be given the menu when you book, but here are just a selection of the items on our menu for your arrival dinner:

• Smoked duck salad
• caramelised onion tart
• beef bourgignon
• cassoulet
• tarte tatin
• lemon tart

If you’d like a special gourmet dinner during your stay, to celebrate a birthday, wedding or anniversary, or just so you don’t have to slave in the kitchen, we can do the work for you. This means the kids can go to bed and you don’t have to drive! Special cakes to celebrate can also be made on request.

Here are some ideas from our French gourmet menu to tempt you:

• Pissaladiere (a provencal tart cooked with onions, anchovies and olives)
• Chicken marinated in pineau (a local dessert wine)
• Roast duck served on a bed of puy lentils
• Chestnut bourgignon pie (V)
• Crème brulee with seasonal fruits

Italian and Far Eastern gourmet dinners are available as well.
